Coursework

Three Tracks. One Clear Direction.

Each track is structured around practical deliverables — not lectures alone. Students build, document and evaluate real projects throughout the programme.

Computer Vision Intensive

Computer Vision Intensive

A project sprint covering image data, model training and evaluation for visual tasks. Practical and outcome-focused across a defined timeframe.

  • Image dataset preparation and annotation
  • Model training and evaluation cycles
  • Documented project deliverable

Applied Machine Learning Track

Applied Machine Learning Track

Project-led learning where students build, evaluate and document real models on practical datasets. Designed for learners ready to move from theory into hands-on work.

  • Supervised and unsupervised model work
  • Evaluation metrics and model documentation
  • Real dataset projects from start to finish

Why Inferna

What Makes This Approach Different

The coursework is designed around doing, not watching. Every track produces something you can show, share and build on.

Project-Led from Day One

You work on real problems and build actual deliverables. There are no passive exercises — the coursework moves through a structured project lifecycle.

Paced for Working Learners

Tracks are structured to fit around other commitments. You progress through defined modules with clear weekly scope rather than open-ended self-study.

Code-First, Tools-Second

The focus is on understanding what the code does, not just running frameworks. Students write, modify and evaluate their own implementations.

Documentation as Practice

Each track includes structured documentation tasks. Knowing how to describe what a model does and why decisions were made is part of the work.

Instructor Access

Questions are answered in scheduled sessions and via written channels. Feedback on project work is specific, not generic.

Tracks Build on Each Other

Data Engineering feeds into Machine Learning, which feeds into Computer Vision. Students can follow a single track or build through the full stack at their own pace.

FAQ

Common Questions

What background do I need before joining a track?
The Data Engineering Foundations and Computer Vision Intensive tracks work well for learners with basic Python familiarity. The Applied Machine Learning Track assumes you have already spent time reading about how models work and are ready to build with them. If you're unsure, reach out and we'll help you find the right starting point.
How long does each track take to complete?
The Computer Vision Intensive is a focused sprint — typically four to six weeks at part-time pace. The Applied Machine Learning Track and Data Engineering Foundations are longer and structured as multi-week programmes with defined modules. Exact timelines are shared during the enrolment discussion.
What do I actually produce during the coursework?
Each track produces a documented project: trained models, evaluation reports, pipeline code and write-ups that describe the choices made. These are yours to keep, share and continue developing after the track ends.
Are the tracks fully online or do I need to attend sessions?
All coursework is delivered online. Scheduled check-in sessions happen remotely, and project materials are accessible through the course platform. You don't need to be in Chiang Mai to participate.
What is the fee, and how is payment handled?
Track fees are listed in Thai Baht (฿): Computer Vision Intensive at ฿3,675, Applied Machine Learning Track at ฿8,750, and Data Engineering Foundations at ฿12,250. Payment details and any available instalment arrangements are discussed during enrolment.
How is my personal information handled?
Information you share during enrolment or via the contact form is used only to manage your coursework and communicate with you. We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
